If you are playing on a privately hosted server either through a dedicated console or a third party host, then the map will already be available by simply selecting the Ragnarok map through the admin settings on the server settings menu. This can be completed easier in single player mode, through the use of admin commands and will grant access to Ragnarok on official servers, after completion. This is achieved through beating all the bosses and essentially "beating" the game, as it stands.
If you wish to play Ragnarok on an official hosted server you will need to first " Ascend" at alpha, beta and gamma level. I have been playing TheIsland for almost a year now exclusively because I was not able to get into any of the DLC's. Basically the very first one that loaded with people in it. When I woke up I clicked the server in Ragnarok I have been trying to get into. It was not set yet cause I never messed with that before. I passed out and slept thru this one it was so big.Īlso I went into settings and changed Steam's preferred hours for updating. There was an even fatter download full of gigabytes for me. Instead I went to front page and unchecked everything in Ark Survival's check box list. Then the download was finished but I did not launch. I got rid of some art programs that were pretty bulky since I only work with Blender these days. Tho I've got a gaming computer with lots of free space. While I did that I cleared more memory on my PC just in case. Idk why it was sitting there? Maybe it does that? Maybe cause I run Metered connect to prevent MS from forcing it's downloads at inconvenient times (game lag and disconnects). So I went to Download and what ya know there was a big fat update download just sitting there. I tried thousands of fixes but nothing worked until this one.
